Las Vegas has many beautiful wedding venues, some you may have never even heard of. But I have a few favorites that I would love to let you know about. I myself adore photographing outdoor, rustic, barn weddings and I bet you didn’t know you could find that here in Las Vegas. .
Of course the Las Vegas Strip is a perfect place to grab some photos before your wedding or even after. There’s the Las Vegas sign to start with. But keep in mind that there could be a really long wait line. Everyone wants their photo in front of the Las Vegas sign. So just be sure to give yourself and your photographer plenty of time if you’re going to do this.
The Las Vegas Strip itself definitely offers a lot of places where you can do photos. Keep in mind, your photographer is required to carry a permit if they are doing wedding photos on the strip. And a lot of times shooting inside of a hotel itself is a big no no. So just make sure all of that is covered before you venture out.
One of the most beautiful places on The Strip is the LOVE sign inside of the Venetian. The giant pool of water and gorgeous architecture behind make this a great photo spot. People hanging out around here are usually more than happy to move out of the way. So getting photographs in front of this sign can be done fairly easily.
The hallways throughout the Venetian on the Palazzo side are beautiful! The way the sun shines through the columns make for beautiful images. It’s really a breathtaking area.
If you’re looking into Las Vegas wedding venues then one you need to take a look at is The Grove. The Grove offers three different options for your ceremony.
For your smaller wedding they have an outdoor location along a stream that runs through their property. Guests are seated in chairs on the grass as the wedding party walks down the path. This is perfect if you are looking into smaller wedding venues but still want something beautiful outdoors.
Another ceremony option The Grove offers is underneath a giant gazebo. A path leads up to the gazebo and guests are seated in chairs inside. If you’re looking for Las Vegas wedding venues where you can be outside but still slightly secluded, then this would be a great option.
For larger weddings there is another outdoor location that walks up to a beautiful altar. The guests are seated in chairs along the grass and there is standing room available as well.
The Grove offers two reception areas that are both indoors. One for smaller weddings that is beautifully updated. Complete with buffet line, kitchen, DJ stand, cake table and gift table. And then they offer a larger one that has everything listed above, a larger dance floor, more tables for the guests, twinkling lights and signs that read “LOVE”
You can find more information about The Grove right here.
The Smith Center offers indoor or outdoor ceremony options. It’s a beautiful location and comes with amazing planners. With quite a large dance floor outdoors if you choose that option. Check out wedding venue information on the Smith Center right here.
I had the honor of photographing Ashley and Chelsea’s wedding at The Smith Center. The entire thing was put together by Weddings by Dzign and they were completely wonderful. If you’re in need of a wedding planner I highly recommend them. You can see more about The Smith Center and read about Ashley and Chelsea’s wedding here.
So my family and I moved to Las Vegas from Montana so my dream weddings to photograph are country style outdoor barn or backyard weddings. I thought to myself where can I find this in Vegas?? I’d like to introduce you to Legends Ranch. If you’re on the hunt for Las Vegas Wedding Venues that make you feel like you’re in Montana, this one’s for you! When I reached out to introduce myself to the owners she told me that’s what many people say. It makes them feel like they’re in Montana.
It’s just an incredibly unique venue for Las Vegas. I highly suggest checking it out. You can do so right here!
